Clairair was established at Little Braxted Hall in the Autumn of 2006 to provide a truly independent source of sensor technology and sensor products to Original Equipment Manufacturers and sensor people worldwide. With over 30 years combined experience in sensors, spanning many sensing techniques, its mission statement is: "To provide independent, professional and innovative solutions to sensor applications."

CoGDEM
ClairAir is a member of CoGDEM, the Council of Gas Detection and Environmental Monitoring.
CoGDEM is the trade association representing manufacturers of gas detecting apparatus and sensors, as well as service companies such as calibration gas and hazardous area certification providers.
